Very little trust between employees and supervisors.
Support from management
Target goals are not realistic. Management was a revolving door of negative attitudes and backstabbing.
2/3 of management never posted monthly goals, statuses during the month or acted like they even cared whether you made money or not.
Half of the women they've hired have quit within a few months. Not very adept at handling the differences between communication styles.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Many seniors employed.
Everything is about numbers. You are a number. If you're not hitting your numbers there will be no career.
Overall compensation for your work
After 15 years in sales it was the lowest paying sales job I've ever had. Diminishing returns. No gas or mileage reimbursement. 32,000 miles in 18 months of employment. Forced into a 401k. $3500 annual deductible for health insurance. Need govt. assistance in the winter months.
Work is 6 days a week from July until Dec. Practically no business for the rest of the year.
A lot of complaining because it's impossible to earn a decent living and you feel like you're being used.
New management could cut you out and bring in employees from old job at will.
Very challenging. Many variables to consider and somewhat high learning curve unless you've been in the industry for a while.
Inclusive / Diverse
Not so much. Females in sales considered a "unique situation."
Suggestions for improvement
- Reimburse people for mileage. Treat them like human beings that have to pay their bills.
What I like about the company
Warm leads. No cold calling.
What I dislike about the company
