What I like

Everyone is pretty nice and works together for the most part esp when needed the most and we get things done. Decent pay and 40hrs vacay as soon as hiired on

What I dislike

The oil leaks and cheap machinery and materials when they have the money to fix all of it and make it better. Jus cheap an make us work harder and clean things up that shouldn't be leaking

Suggestions for improvement

Cleaning up the machines and fixing them and order high class materials

EmployeeWorked at Ficosa North America Corp in Madison Heights, MI at the time of review.

What I like

The first 3 years were great. Everyone was supportive and friendly. Chances to travel and was paid for on the company's dime. Good healthcare and 401k program as you advance; if you advance.

What I dislike

Lack of opportunities to grow. Human resources lacked leadership. Overall pay, and reluctance to change old ways that prove dysfunctional.

Suggestions for improvement

The staff is the number one problem. The fact they under value the work being done is also another important factor to consider because a persons time is priceless regardless what dollar figure is put on them.

This place is absolutely one of the worst places to work at. Even before Panosonic bought this company it was chaotic..

Former EmployeeWorked in Research/development at Ficosa North America Corp in Madison Heights, MI.

What I like

Being able to work freely and work as a team as necessary.

What I dislike

Personal vendettas, foreign company, Human Resource, and again.. most upper management and their lack of communication.

Suggestions for improvement

Roman Resource Management and most upper management

Career Development

Good learning experience but overall bad memories. Communication between Administration, their Directors and managers was terrible. Which made work complicated and everyone had a finger to point at but themself and do something about it rather than complain.

Overall compensation for your work

False promises that never happened

Challenging Work

If you can understand automotive spec and its grammatical universality, being a lab test technician is fun but with a heavy, almost unbearable workload.
