Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2007
It seems like management changes more frequently than some clients change their oil. They tend to fire employees rather than change the company's policy of doing things and unsurprisingly nothing really changes for the better because of it. Management doesn't support the employees at all and is reluctant to communicate with a customer. I always had the feeling that any decision I made would be the wrong one. Perhaps this is an unfair criticism because as I write this five months after I left management is undoubtedly new. I think we all know that the job doesn't change much from company to company but the lack of leadership at Fields combined with tendency to act in opposition rather than support to the employees really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Suggestions for improvement
- When sending out my resume for alternate employment I was shocked at how high the demand was for someone of my skill set. Fields should value their employees much more than they do... Because there are certainly other companies who will if they don't.
