A fifth third worse
Communication not aligned with realities. It is still a pure Good Old Boy company where diversity is crushed.
Great people, but the best end up moving on.
Freedom to work independently
When management is incompetent, they might impose requirements that really do not make sense to someone who is competent.
Again, they don't walk the talk.
Women are treated as bonafide admins.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Between early retirements & RIFs, what older colleagues?
Not even recognized for pursuing industry certifications, what development?
Overall compensation for your work
Nothing remarquable, everything is on the cheap.
Office / Work Environment
No space, new open spaces where you only get a desk...
Fifth Third - 5 jobs for 3 people, the adage is still true and more true as time goes by.
None. Anyone can be on the chopping block at any time.
Inclusive / Diverse
They pretend they value diversity but would accept anything from a middle aged white male that anyone else would get fired for.
Suggestions for improvement
- Apart from changing the whole C-Suite, where to start?
What I like about the company
Used to like the people, most of them are gone or on the way out.
What I dislike about the company
Complete disregard for humanity.
