Lots of politicking, people holding grudges and playing favorites. Unqualified individuals being put into technical positions, and then leaving or being fired a few months later -- lots of revolving door positions.
Support from management
Management was uneven, ignored issues with certain employees and narrowed down on others for almost the exact same issues.
Coworkers were good, only reason the position was bearable for the time that is was, until that was broken up by management and the company losing accounts.
Freedom to work independently
HR was extremely untrustworthy, gossiped, shared internal information with friends outside of work. Highly unprofessional and nobody trusted confiding things with that department.
Late information, incomplete information was commonplace. Customer review program was anti-employee entirely as there was no appealing a bad review even if the employee did literally everything correctly, because the way things were set up only thing the account cared about was what the customer reviewed at the end.
Overall compensation for your work
Had employees working with programming languages that should have been compensated much higher than they were for the effort put into it as well as the tasks handled.
Office / Work Environment
Temperature was usually too cold, air quality was poor -- extremely dusty, cat5 cables overhead never cleaned.
Company image is one thing they are good at, which is due to the high turnover rate and desire to attract new people so often.
Very little job security -- accounts come and go, and more often leave after not very long due to internal issues with this company as well as expectations from the client. Shuffled through multiple positions as were coworkers, whole teams broken up multiple times, almost no communication about this or forewarning except for favorite employees with the right connections in who to talk to, or upper management.
At times the work was challenging and interesting, other times tedius -- decent balance.
