All talk and no follow through
Support from management
There is very little communication and involvement from upper management. Never received clear communication about goals and what was expected. Management also never engaged with employees for their input on what worked and didn't work.
Igor the most part my branch worked well together but there were many times when others felt less than appreciated or taken advantage of by other colleagues. Tension developed between a few but was never communicated.
Freedom to work independently
Again extreme lack of communication and leadership.
This issue never really surfaced.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Get most of the older workers were ones who had been with the company long term. Don't think they were hired on regular basis
Lacked leadership and growth opportunities. If you are happy I. The same position long term with no structure or guidance then this is the company for you.
Office / Work Environment
Physical aspect of the office was fine but system operations were a hit or miss sometimes making it extremely difficult to execute task efficiently.
Recycling system was fine
The company says family comes first but you were left feeling guitlty when you needed to be out because their was nobody to cover in your absence due to staffing and other branches willingness to help.
Was never sure but felt that the amount of responsibility I had and the many hats I wore I would think my position was secure
Basic information on workplace safety provided annually.
Most of the time the actual task at hand should not have been difficult but the system and process was EXTREMELY inefficient for majority of everyday responsibilities.
Inclusive / Diverse
They say they do but actions didn't reflect. Felt more like dealing with cliques in high school.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire the right people for the right positions. Engage with employees and find out what their desired career path is and help develop that.
What I like about the company
The people I worked with directly and how they requested clients be treated.
What I dislike about the company
SEVERE lack of leadership, development and opportunities. Many people were in positions but were not prepared to handle the responsibility the position required.
