Company needs to realize that cdl drivers are not a dime a dozen, eventually you will have to compensate in order to keep the drivers around

When I accepteded to work early or extra - scedulers/dispatch almost always worked to accommodate me. TEAMWORK

Employee support was small. Operations decisions were based on budgets, not basics.

The employee culture was the redeeming quality that kept me there.

A predatory atmosphere existed against long time employees. A young new worker is a pay savings for the company.

There was no work/life balance. Vacation was awarded on a senority list. Working hours included many non-pay hours- splits.

  • MV under-bid the contract in order to secure the contract. They then proceeded to apply pressure in every area to cut costs.

Support from management

Management don't stick up for employees. They expect all your time with no compensation. The goals that are excepted or given are not realistic. Rules and prologue change from week to week to take the blame off them.

Teamwork

Instead of doing what is expected of the position, things are pushed on others. When told what needs to be done and shown how to do it, it still doesn't get done or is incorrect.

Internal Communication

Corporate gives things they want without clear direction. When asked for clarity, they make you seem incompetent. They don't consider employee feedback or concerns. They also word things so that you can be blamed when things go wrong and they don't get the results they thought they would get.
