Employee support was small. Operations decisions were based on budgets, not basics.

Attitude towards older colleagues
A predatory atmosphere existed against long time employees. A young new worker is a pay savings for the company.
There was no work/life balance. Vacation was awarded on a senority list. Working hours included many non-pay hours- splits.
