Employee burn out is serious, but benefits are great.
Support from management
I guess there is support but not much recognition.
Overall compensation for your work
I know I am paid on the low end of spectrum for the work I do according to other colleagues working in similar settings.
Office / Work Environment
The people and customer services is wonderful but the walls could be more inviting and welcoming.
It is difficult to have work-life balance when you feel it is more important to work than take time off for important things in your life. Being burnt out also seems to go unrecognized.
Suggestions for improvement
- Be more flexible on working with the fact we are working to live, not living to work. I think it is great the company has a "work-life balance coach" but I am not sure exactly what they can do about me needing to have more of a life outside of work. It is so easy to get burnt out here you have to dig to remember you are doing what you love. We are given a pretty hard time when asking for a day off and heaven forbid you are lacking a few hours of PTO for the time you want off. Everyone in my department are very loyal and work very hard so a little recognition and flexibility would go a long way.
What I like about the company
I like the extra health benefits and incentives and the fact they show appreciation by giving a Christmas Bonus.
What I dislike about the company
The company in general is great, just some processes could be a little more simple.
