Suggestions for improvement
- Put the sales managers and ALL other employees on commission also so that they can see what the Independent Distributors go through weekly.The stale cap should be removed since ALL stops do not want to run out of bread.This should not come out of the pockets of the Independent Distributor.
I dislike about the employer
Working for Flowers you are considered an Independent Distributor but you are treated like an employee.You work 7 days a week unless the route that you are paying for affords you to pay someone to work for you on Wednesday and Sunday,your days "off".You pay for a territory and you MUST service stops in your territory,it doesn't matter if you are overloaded and working 15 hours a day making $1000 a week.You pay your expenses out of what you make.Gas,maintenance,employees,insurance (yes you have to get your own),you pay for your time off and sick time and keep in mind all of this comes out of your $1000 +/- a week.If you collect cash on your route then you have to send the Bakery a check every week and it will NEVER be the same amount since you are commissioned base.You also MUST pay for your stales if you go over your allowed 10 percent.If your route makes $12,000 a week and your stales are $1300 then you have to pay the Bakery $100.This is on top of your expenses and any other expenses from the Bakery and they love to charge you back for miscellaneous expenses EVERY chance they get.If you work here then you need to have no bills,a wife that has insurance and a 401K.Your days off are Wednesday and Sunday but you are still required to work your grocery stores or pay someone else to do it for you.
