Company Culture

You’ll be over worked and under paid. Nothing you do is ever good enough

Support from management

Most of the managers have no idea how to do the job they are managing and then try to tell you to do things that don’t make sense. Work hard not smart!

Teamwork

The departments don’t work together and that causes bickering and hurt feelings

Most of the time you can put your headphones in and forget your annoying boss is over there complaining about everything and every one.

Internal Communication

My old GM (just quit this week) would encourage insubordination toward your direct manager and then watch the show when you got constantly punished. He was a real peace of work.

I get paid close to the lowest in the office and I’m the top performer in my department.

Office / Work Environment

The place is never clean and there are always dead mice in traps behind the cubicles. You sit in one huge room with every other office worker including the managers.

Environmental Friendliness

It’s a printing plant. We kill trees. We use a crap load of energy, and recycling isn’t a must here. We also use a lot of chemicals.

Work-Life Balance

They normally don’t push weekends and over time, but last year I worked almost every single Saturday and had to fight for time off. Also I’ve worked 10 hour days almost every week for 3 years because we are constantly under staffed

Can’t afford to fire you when you are one of two doing the work of 6...

We are in South East Kansas. There really isn’t much opportunity for diversity.

  • Fire the creepy, useless managers that make everyone uncomfortable and unhappy

What I like about the company

I love what I do. I went to school to do this work. Just need to get rid of people who are making everyone miserable and find a HR lady that doesn’t gossip.

What I dislike about the company

Almost everything. I have proven over and over again that I’m better at my job and more capable of running my department, but they won’t get rid of the waste of money and space because I’m a woman and he’s a man. He’s inappropriate and stares at all the girls chests while he’s talking to them and stands WAY to close to you when ever he can. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and makes crap up all the time. He lies constantly and it’s never his fault! (That’s his motto) But he’s a man so he’s better for the managers position.
