Managers and supervisors lack the ability to interact in a meaningful way with employees. There is only black and white with their thinking. There is no gray areas. In anything.
It's their way or the highway. Don't try to bring your ideas to the table because, even though they portray and constantly talk about their open door policy. It's not an open minded company. They are set in their ways. They ask for ideas and feedback but consistently and often use the tow line: Franklin is a very conservative company and we have previously looked into that/it's on the list of things to be considered.
