I like about the employer
Truthfully, there was nothing I liked about French Company LLC. Now before it became that it was "The French Company". When I first started working for them, it was a great company. As time went on like any corporation, things started dwindling as the economic picture changed. After the company was sold and became French Company LLC, it was a whole different picture. Work amount decreased, communication with employees started to become no existent, pay decreased. Mind you, everyone out in the field work's on a commission basis, but when they would negotiate a contract with any client, it was the person in the field that bared the brunt of the monetary aspect of the negotiation. An simple example being this ... say the labor rate to change one particular part was $5.00. In order to get that contract the labor rate would be cut to $4.50. Considering that the person in the field (Route Manager) get's a commission on the labor that was a decrease in their wages. Now, look at the BIG picture, those working in the office are salaried employee's. It did not make a difference to them, they still received the same money, but the person who actually did the work and making the "profit" for the company was actually making less wages and more required of them.
This is just one example of what the company had become.
