In my opinion, the "culture" at this company is so fraught with employee abuse, with administrators LYING to employees and misrepresenting the ability to earn fairly the touted bonuses, that they cannot hold people. The work place is so very high pressure and hypercontrolling that I have seen employees weep with frustration and anger because of the lies and the way they were treated. Going through people this quickly, the company is hemorrhaging money for training people who then take to the floors and the phones and then do not last and leave. They cannot last forever at this rate of turnover in a small community like Valdosta where word gets around, and this may be why they are opening another office in Destin, FL. It is my opinion that the company will not last. That said, if you get hurt at this place on the job, be sure to file an incident report and see your doctor and tell them IT HAPPENED AT WORK. DO NOT EXPECT THAT COMPANY RECOGNIZES AND REWARDS LOYALTY. THEY DO NOT. IF YOU TRY TO FILE FOR FMLA LEAVE, THEY WILL FIRE YOU WHEN THEY GET THE CHANCE. This is a very stressful and oppressive place to work. Word gets around though, and I should have listened to other people from the area who told me "Do not work there. It is a bad place to work."
Suggestions for improvement
- Stop lying. Stop failing to inform. Stop treating the employees as if they were "prospects" and "fame-ing" the employees as they do prospects. Speak candidly and be kind. Allow employees to change their minds about the number of hours they work and maybe you will retain more of them. When people get hurt on the job, don't desert them when they do not report to workers comp because they are trying to be loyal. Respect that they are trying to a team player but they are hurt and need time to heal. Treat people the way you would want to be treated--with compassion and fairness--and then your turnover rate will plummet. Have the place cleaned thoroughly once each week and nightly clean ups. Widen the aisles so people can walk through without risking being hit by chairs and passing large people. PROVIDE PROPERLY MARKED HANDICAPPED PARKING SO MOBILITY IMPAIRED EMPLOYEES CAN PARK NEAR THE BUILDING AS REQUIRED BY LAW. ENFORCE THE HANDICAPPED PARKING AND STOP ALLOWING YOUR "VIPs" TO PARK IN THE HANDICAPPED SPACES. INSTEAD, ADMINISTRATORS, WHEN VIPs ARE COMING *YOU* PARK IN THE REGULAR EMPLOYEE SPOTS AND GIVE THE VIPs *YOUR* RESERVED SPACE. This will look very good to the VIPs and to your employees.

What I dislike about the company
They act like they are doing you a favor to give you insurance when you are full time, but the cost is outrageous and the insurance is not very comprehensive at all. Employees I knew who used it said it was expensive and terrible coverage. Once you sign on for a set number of hours per week, they threaten to fire you or fire you if you try to reduce your hours. The administration lies to the lower employees all the time. The management manipulates the employees with hostility and threats and intimidation and psychological manipulation/abuse. The work environment is filthy. Sickness happens all the time there because the place is dirty. With this company, it is all about appearances and no substance. They pay low hourly wages with the justification that bonuses should make up with it. Then you learn by trial and error (losing your bonus each time) what problems/situations will cause you to lose your bonus. They do not warn you ahead of time what will cause you to lose the bonus--BECAUSE IT SAVES THE COMPANY SO MUCH MONEY EVERY TIME SOMEONE LEARNS THIS WAY. You learn the hard way. No one there above the level of the phone agents speaks straight talk. They dissemble, lie, misrepresent, fail to inform. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO WORK. IT IS FULL OF PEOPLE WITH A HIGH PRESSURE SALES MENTALITY WHO WILL LIE TO YOU, MAKE YOU FEEL BADLY ABOUT YOURSELF, THREATEN YOU, MAKE YOU DOUBT YOUR OWN PERCEPTIONS. THE ENVIRONMENT IS A TOTAL BRAINWASHING. DO NOT GO THERE. THEY DO NOT HAVE PROPERLY MARKED AND ENFORCED HANDICAPPED PARKING AS REQUIRED BY LAW. THEY REFUSE TO FIX THE MARKING OF THE HANDICAPPED SPOTS TO MAKE THEM ENFORCEABLE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE THEM FOR THEIR VIP POTENTIAL CLIENTS AND STANDING CLIENTS WHEN THEY COME TO VISIT.
