Suggestions for improvement
- It may sound a little harsh, but maybe beef up the hiring process a little bit. There have been times where someone will be hired on, work for a day, then come in under the influence and become a danger to themselves and those around them.
What I like about the company
Management here has been far better than any other grocery/retail store that I have worked for. They are willing to listen and help when ever an issue or a question arises. Even when I was a fresh new hire, I was able to get a minimum of 32 hours of work a week, but mainly averaging between 38-40. Raises come easily that way, as raises are based off of hours worked.
What I dislike about the company
While they do help you whenever you need it, they can be a little overbearing on that aspect, to the point where it feels like they are trying to control something that they themselves may not know too much about (this is more towards higher management outside of the store itself).
