Employee not respected... just want the people out in the field who are doing to work to work....not interested in what they can do together
Freedom to work independently
Workload is given to the employees out in the field. It must get done promptly and if they are caught sitting down, they take that time off their time sheets. We are told to take off that time ... no breaks allowed.
It is irrelevant what they say or want. They act like they will listen to them but they put begin writing ups so those people can be fired and they have no fear of the employees filing for unemployment. They document each break they take and which they do not pay them for.
Women are hired and are treated equally
Attitude towards older colleagues
There are only two managers outside the office. There will not be any other. The Mexican Manager they walk all over and the Asphalt Manager walks all over his helpers and the other Mexican Manager.
Office / Work Environment
Working conditions are good for the supervisors out in the field but the employees doing the work they could care less. They hire the poor so they can work them like work horses.
No work life balance exists. Employees out in the field are expected to go to work regardless of the weather working nights and sometimes days... They do not care about the employees families they care about money money money.
Yes we all talk fondly until we see how insignificant all the workers out in the fields are and they realize this soon too.
Yes my job is very stable
No disabled allowed but they don't say that... just don't hire them
No challenging work. Not proud to work here. The employers care about making money and take no consideration for their employees who are working hard all night. We in the administration department have it much easier. Our pay is good.

Suggestions for improvement
- If they would realize the people out in the field are the ones making them the millions they have and treat them fairly. Making sure they have water on sight and gave them fair wages the employees would be happy and do a great job for a longer time and they would have less turn over. Just treat them the way they would want to be treated.
What I like about the company
I like my position as Administration Assistant because I am at the computer all day and its an easy job. Pay isn't great. No benefits
What I dislike about the company
They cheat their employees who are out in the field. They do not believe in breaks. They will not give then much per hour. They prefer hiring people who are on the lower income level because they can manipulate them. Once those people realize they usually walk away.
