Suggestions for improvement
- Compensation policies would be the first to improve on. We need better pay for our employees and timely raises and assessments on our compensation rate would be greatly appreciated.
What I like about the company
The company has great employees who are hard workers and caring. We all strive to ensure our customers are treated fairly and in a positive manner. We have accessible parking close to our building which is nice and parking tickets are waived if you cannot find a park in the designated spot. We have paid time off and personal days given to us which is nice so you can have a proper work and life balance. We also receive compensation BiWeekly which is also nice so we don’t have to wait a long time in between paychecks to better care for our personal needs and our families. We normally get holidays off as well which is also a great blessing to be able to have more of a balance with life and work. Our division has on site and off site company meetings where we discuss important matters in a healthy yet fun atmosphere and way. We also have office get together where a lot of us will cook and bring different dishes. We also have little many wrap sessions in our department to ensure everyone is mentally and emotionally ok. It can get a little overwhelming at times with the kind of customers we engage with but having a true, loving and caring team makes it manageable. We also have an hour lunch break which is nice because we actually get to eat our meals either from home or off campus somewhere without having to rush and without having to risk getting sick and or indesgestion from eating too quickly and trying to make it back to work in time. We also have an on-site grille restaurant that allows us to buy breakfast and or lunch at a reasonable price. The food they prepare is also very fresh and hot upon eating which is really nice. I have been working for this company for a while and I must say the pros are way more than the cons for sure. We also have opportunities to further advance in our career which is really nice because we don’t have to feel boggle down or stuck in one area. What I dislike about the company
I feel like our company could compensate us way more than what they do. They put all of the financial aspects into building projects on and off campus, but fails to do timely assessments of pay especially for those of us with higher degrees. The demands from our job should also be weighed in regards to an increase compensation rate. They pay us little and expect a lot more which really doesn’t add up in my opinion.
