- Fugro Earthdata, Inc.13.Dec 2017
They continue to fire the production people and then bring them back as contractors so they don't have to pay them benefits.
Support from management
The people and departments work together well but it's likely out of fear of being fired.
Freedom to work independently
Blindside their best people with layoffs.
Lots of women probably because they know they can get away with paying them less.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Have run out most of the long time employees.
Not really applicable since the majority of the workers are temporary.
Overall compensation for your work
Close to average for the few full-time workers left. Most haven't had raises in years.
Office / Work Environment
Everyone lives in fear of the next round of layoffs.
No better or worse than anyplace else.
You have no life except their life.
There was a time before Fugro when the company had a decent reputation in the industry. Those days are gone.
In my experience it was, but I got laid off almost 10 years ago.
Inclusive / Diverse
Mostly white with some Asians. Have a token black VP.
