Suggestions for improvement
- Get rid of all management and HR staffs and hire the one who want to work with people. Need to address safety issues which is the number one thing to attend.
I like about the employer
I like the hours which I worked 10 hours shifts in 4 days instead working 8 hours in 5 days. Parking was never an issue. The pay was good.
I dislike about the employer
Managements and associates never get along and always have some issues in communications, getting the job done. Safety issues are the biggest issue of all. I was injured and end up in hospital. Can't work due severe injury and required delicate surgery. Company refused to pay work comp and I have to hire lawyer to get them to pay. It took 4 years and the case was settled less than I should had gotten. I was reported to go back to work from my lawyer. I found out the company fired me without notifying me in such manners.
Many people do get hurt at work and especially one almost got shot by a loose ammo which was on the floor and the Pallet Jack truck ran over it and set off the bullet and grazed an employee's arm. No safety issues were reviewed at the time of grave situation.
Many of good hard working people left or terminated from this company. It is all due of lack of Management, HR and Corporate Management experience and not able to resolve in orderly fashion. I wish this company do better in hiring right management and HR staffs to be supportive in all employees.
