Suggestions for improvement
- Re-staff the entire management staff. Take more interest in what the front line employees are saying what is needed to be successful. Train you employees properly as a team.
What I like about the company
The Items that were manufactured were interesting
What I dislike about the company
Poor upper management skills, New hires not qualified to do their job. More politically chosen. General Manager's job is a revolving door for training ground for Upper management of Air Products. Engineering department is out of date and has a manager who is elderly and absent frequently. Manufacturing department does not work well with the rest of the company. Poor management skills with the line supervisors, and are not very knowledgeable about the product line. Supervisors do not work well with the union workers on the shop floor. All this equals poor quality and massive amounts of rework. The work force is not being trained properly.
