I blame corporate only. We get squeezed hard, get a great JACHO review, and then are told to furlough a number of employees for the bottom line on the fourth quarter. How does that help anyone other than the corporate office.
Support from management
My supervisor was great. Corporate wouldn't allow her to make the needed changes due to money
It was good amongst front line employees.
Attitude towards older colleagues
I saw more than one person let go because they had experience and hire some one less experienced for less.
Overall compensation for your work
10th-15th percentile for pay
Office / Work Environment
Great building. Great equipment. Just never enough people to actually do the work effectively.
Didn't get much chance to know the community due to wiring all the time. Think twice if you have children
If you do your work good to exceptional, you're fine usually
Suggestions for improvement
- I hope that a different corporation buys the hospital. It's a great building, in a great place. Great people work there. There truly need to beat least 5 to 10 more employees in each department to help them run at the capacity that is mandated. That would also help with moral and overtime issues
What I like about the company
Consistent across the board
What I dislike about the company
CHS add the corporation on charge
