What I like about the company
The pay was good, most of the people I worked with were intelligent, educated and helpful.
What I dislike about the company
It was like working in a sweat shop. Although our numbers were great, our customer satisfaction levels were high, nothing was ever good enough. There was constant pressure to increase our numbers, shorten our calls, and not enough training. There was definite preferential treatment and very apparent that it was who you knew that got you anywhere in the company. I was chosen as part of an elite team of representatives to handle follow up for cases that were not able to be solved over the phone. The very next day I was offered the position, someone that was intimidated by me was able to take me off the team because of who she knew. This person also made life miserable for many others in the company that were her superiors to the point that they left the company. This company is supposed to be a representative of Google. The lack of training and support of the Google products we were supposed to be support for, made it difficult to do our jobs. Personally I felt that they were a bad reflection on Google, and many times heard the same from our clients that called us for support. If the company had been more like Google, it may have been better.
