Gensler does leading world-class design work. For young designers who want to work on prestigious projects, this is the place
Gensler is weak on work-life issues - people are expected to give their all for projects when the fee has been underbid. Lots and lots of unpaid overtime. Aggressive, competitive teammates ready to throw others under the bus to get ahead. Management encourages this. Looks seem to be nearly as important as design talent.
