Suggestions for improvement
- None. Under the Koch culture, teamwork, self-respect and autonomy are things of the past and there is no hope for change.
What I like about the company
Before the Koch brothers acquired Georgia Pacific, it was a fairly nice place to work. The leadership team was fairly cohesive and the employee relations and teamwork was above average.
What I dislike about the company
After the Koch brothers acquisition, the environment became more adversarial in dealing with our union. The salaried people, especially the leadership team, became devisive and non-trusting. Everybody tended to look after themselves as annual raises were almost non-existant and "bonuses" were paid by adding value to the company. The only problem was that nobody knew how this was measured and top level management gave these bonus dollars to the employees they like best.
