The trust is not there between the management staff and the associates, there is a big disconnect
Support from management
The supervisors are left powerless due to the demand of Production first, what ever it take to get that done.
Since production is the main focus this gets in the way of working as a team.
Freedom to work independently
The company is production driven, so what ever it takes to get parts out the door, supersedes all else.
Women are expected to do the same job as there male counter part.
Attitude towards older colleagues
This is not the place to work if you're older and will be working in the factory. the hours are long and the work is repetitive.
There is no training for moving employees up. Tuition reimbursement is offered but that will have to be approved my management.
Office / Work Environment
The factory is loud and dusty. you will get dirty doing this job if you're working in the factory.
You are expected to work to get the job done. what ever that takes. Long hours are not uncommon.
The overall employees attitude is very poor
If someone want you gone, they will start a writing you up to get you out of there.
This is not the place if you have a disablity
The training is not up to the standards it need to be for the conditions.
The work is challenging due to the incompetence of management
Suggestions for improvement
- Revise the Senior Management structure from the Plant manager to the Assembly manager. Their roles need to be clearly defined and that will help a lot in getting this company headed In the right direction.
What I like about the company
I met some good people, who worked well with me.
What I dislike about the company
Senior Management is not people focus. Assembly management runs the plant, which causes a lot of problems with the operation of the plant
