Suggestions for improvement
- The owners should be in jail and the showroom shut down. This is a total scam!
I like about the employer
I met some new customers and co workers that will be life long friends.
I dislike about the employer
All Territory Reps are 1099 employees. We must pay for our own gas and road expenses, transportation to and from markets and out of state sales conferences. We are promised a 60% commission rate however there is NO transparency and you are rarely provided with commission statements. I was with this showroom a year and a half, longer than most leaving before 6 months, because I couldn't believe that people could be as conniving as to prey on hard working, trusting people that worked ever day and not pay them the money they earned. They always had excuses for low checks like product hadn't shipped and vendors hadn't paid commissions or cancellations. Most employees last 6 months or less. They pit employees against each other so they wouldn't collaborate and figure things out quicker. This company makes their money from cycling through reps and not compensating them according to their contract.
