Support from management
Supervisors are not intelligent you may get a different answer everyday. There aren't enough workstations . Agents constantly cuss each other out daily for one. Management never gets involved. You can get written up for being 1 minute late. Supervisors don't have to be. There are no raises given. There is very little professionalism. Agents who have worked for many years are passed over for promotional opportunities in favor of relatives of management.
Agents are discouraged from helping one another. There is an unorganized union in place with no contract and no one seems to know what is going on. Morale is very low with so many people being fired or resigning on a regular basis. Team meetings are rare.
Freedom to work independently
Agents are clearly given favorable treatment some are allowed to read and sleep. Supervisors listen to music and text in their workstation.
All agents are forced to take travel planning and travel service calls. We are rarely given feedback.
Workforce is mostly women and most of the men there are supervisors.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Agents with the most experience are not appreciated and can be fired without warning.
Promotions are clearly given to the clueless suck ups.
Overall compensation for your work
Duo trained agents are tremendously underpaid for the value being given.
Office / Work Environment
Very noisy sometimes overcrowded. Computers run Windows XP and some take over 10 minutes to load. It is extremely hot in summer and extremely cold throughout the rest of the year.
Upper management is from North Carolina and doesn't even attend negotiations with union.
There is constant pressure from supervisors to work on your day off and stay later. If you like to work long hours this job is for you. You get 2 weeks vacation after working 3 years.
Supervisors have attitudes when you ask for help. They wear crocs, jeans with holes, sunglasses and hats.
Turnover is high. Every 2 or 3 weeks there is a new training class of 20 or more.
There are 2 older slower elevators. The other is newer and express for 7th and 8th floor and is either overcrowded or not in service.
Due to prior incidents there are now armed security guards.
Every 2 weeks there is a paycheck.
Inclusive / Diverse
Company has fired Russian and Chinese speaking agents in favor of using a language option on your phone to help translate. This is not very effective because it increases your call time.
Suggestions for improvement
- Supervisors need to take their own work seriously so that they can be shown respect by newer agents.

Some coworkers were nice.
What I dislike about the company
Management is unprofessional doesn't promote their best. Overcrowded, noisy, cold computers slow. Coworkers argue a lot over seats.
