The culture here is one of respect and fun. We all do what we can to help each other and get work done, but also laugh with each other and make it fun.
They have an open door policy and are very open about issues.
Freedom to work independently
We are given license to do what we need to in order to assist the customer, save certain circumstances and promises.
There are emails and announcements made in the team huddles to communicate any changes/updates, and also let us know when there are birthdays, promotions, anniversaries, and kudos calls for others.
They work with expecting mothers and they are able to come back after having their baby.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Its a matter of competency, not age, that they look at for any promotions.
Office / Work Environment
They have a continental breakfast for their employees on Monday, a lunch on Fridays, and snacks they keep stocked so their employees can have food on their stomachs and focus on work.
We work our schedules and don't have to sign up for overtime if we don't want to and don't miss our shifts. They also have get-togethers outside of work with coworkers, like a pool party this last summer and the holiday parties.
The work in and of itself isn't terribly difficult. There will be some calls that frustrate you in trying to solve the problem, but for the most part it's routine work.

- They implement feedback we give them on improvement, so this isn't really an issue.
What I like about the company
This has been hands-down the best place I've ever worked. The people are friendly and help if you need it, the bosses care about the employees and ask for and implement feedback given, and the people who call in are nice for the most part. The supervisors will help any way they can and understand the frustrations on the calls and make sure you have the resources you need to do your job.
What I dislike about the company
I have not yet found anything about this company I disapprove of, and I've been there almost a year.
