- Terminate several senior staff!
I like about the employer
I liked those with disabilities. They were very motivated and sincere.
I dislike about the employer
The company enforces policies for employees but there is a double standard when senior staff break policies and procedures. Senior administration also discriminates against staff they do not like. Supervisors or at least one supervisor ridicules staff in public, did not train or offer training, and went out of his way to humiliate me in front of other staff. There are senior staff or at least one I know who's had a long lasting affair with another staff member. I had lunch with a store manager but I suggested from the first that we have someone else go with us. We met her husband at lunch. After leaving Roanoke, I applied at another Goodwill. They were very excited and led me to believe I would get the job. They called me several times and I went on an interview. The employee policy was to give no information except for date of hire and termination. After I a few weeks I called the other Goodwill as I hadn't heard from them and I was told point blank they would not consider me for employment.
