Suggestions for improvement

Google should answer with a status, we never know if your Resume was even read. Any feedback from a so admired company should be absolutely welcome.

CandidateApplied as Materials Engineer at Google in San Francisco, CA in 2018 and did not receive an offer.

Suggestions for improvement

Do you really have better applicants willing to work for this salary? It's hard to imagine. Are there veterans with purple hearts and engineering degrees applying? Are there veterans with masters degrees in engineering applying? Or is this age discrimination?

Interview questions

  • Sailor, motorcyclist, EUC rider, antique car restoration, and Unity/VRchat 3D modeling enthusiast.
  • I've been trying to get a job in my field for years now. ANY job in my field. I have an engineering degree and I am universally rejected for ALL technician jobs in my field. I never hear back about engineering positions I apply for. If there weren't any available jobs in materials science, or the competition were great enough to justify me not getting a job in my field, then I would understand, but this is not the case. I have no criminal record, and there is no reason for me to be denied any and all opportunities. This is actually dangerous. Are these HR people aware that there is a correlation between people with engineering degrees and terrorism? I'm not asking for much, and all I'm getting is the middle finger. There is work that needs to be done, and I would enjoy doing it. How are these less educated people with liberal arts degrees deciding my fate?
