Company Culture
Pay is pathetic for experience career technicians. Far below industry standards for true professional technicians. These guys were getting paid somewhere around a dollar more than the employees with little to no experience. Those with little to no experience in the industry were being paid the state minimum wage which is even lower than a cashier at a fast food restaurant.
Support from management
Give empty promises of promotions and pay. Blatantly lie to get you to agree to work for them
Teamwork
Upside: majority of employees work togrther well. Downside: constantly selling customers services or repairs they don't really need even though their store statement on the wall to customers states "Only What You Need".
Freedom to work independently
All major work was pressed into the real professional and experienced techs. Only one or two of them who are real technicians.
Internal Communication
Morning meetings every day before work started. Always negative feedback even on days that employees did great work the day before. Very little praise to good employees. Would rather just run their good employees off.
Gender Equality
Only know of two females that got tired of working for the company and left
Attitude towards older colleagues
Insults to good and experienced techs. Empty promises of promotions and pay raises.
Career Development
Provide opportunities for ase certifications. Never saw it happen to any employee
Overall compensation for your work
The pros were not paid what they deserve. Far below industry standards of pay.
Office / Work Environment
Disgusting floors, walls and restrooms even for an auto shop. Equipment only worked half the time. Employees improperly trained on equipment and computers were slow. Surprised they have not been visited by OSHA recently.
Environmental Friendliness
No heat in winter and no air conditioning in summer. Company doesn't care about employees, huge turnover rate.
Work-Life Balance
Ask for time off and be threatened termination. Put in two weeks notice and you won't be on the schedule forcing employees not to be able to work for those two weeks.
Company Image
Everyone treated badly it appeared.
Job Security
No stability for anyone
Handicapped Accessibility
Handicap accessible
Workplace Safety
Unsafe and environmentally unstable conditions.
Challenging Work
Just a lube shop
Inclusive / Diverse
Take ideas but dont try to change anything.
