I think this depends on a supervisor- I had 2 years with a micromanager who enforced the “numbers” culture there, but my last year and a half was with an amazing supervisor who enforced self care while also ensuring we had the ability to meet our numbers. When a CM, that’s when the numbers culture is very, very stressful.
Support from management
Again depends on manager.
Depends on your team.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Probably could use more education with new computer systems for the older staff, but otherwise good.
Office / Work Environment
Can be unsafe due to expectations to go into people’s houses and community without a lot of warning if there’s issues.
This depends on the boundaries you set. Poor work life balance if you keep working over to meet expectations, but it’s difficult to manage this since you have clients.
Suggestions for improvement
- Better PTO management, better UR expectations to reduce stress, and ensure equal management expectations
What I like about the company
Mostly supportive staff, good coworkers, challenging work, good benefits
What I dislike about the company
UR expectations, not being able to realistically use PTO
