Suggestions for improvement
- More money please especially being educators it can get difficult
Administrators enjoy keeping the spirit of teaching alive. I have been inspired by those I work with.
Still, the pay is not enough to balance the planning we need. Also, it would be better if the district was more thought out in the new schools being opened. I hear of issues on shared campuses.
You get a lot of time off. In addition to 3 weeks of accrued vacation, you also get 2 weeks paid time off during Christmas and 1 week paid time off during spring break. Also, the company 401K employer contribution matching is awesome! If I remember correctly, it was up to 6%. It is immediately vested.
Too many meetings which created more work, and no work-life balance. Too many rules in place that were not making good business sense and caused work to be inefficient. You're expected to work lots of OT.
