One of the few problems I had with this job was lack of communication from the owners. Instead of warnings or what was expected upfront. It was ignore the employee they were upset with for a few weeks and then suddenly move them to another store. Also, instead of hearing everyone's side and investigating what actually happened, they decided to use quick reactions instead of thinking about what could have possibly, really happened and talking things through. Very little training and when you did do something they didn't like, they only focused on that aspect but were never in the store to actually train or observe.
Suggestions for improvement
- Investigate complaints, observe and communicate with your employees to find out the whole story. Keep stock updated.
