A lot of office politics. New management only caring about their wallets not about the employee.
Support from management
Micromanaged, lack of communication, robotic scripts and quality assurance.
Use to be great but new management has changed policies. Everything is robotic and all about numbers.
Freedom to work independently
Micromanage all the time. Can't even take a bathroom break without getting talked to by management.
Most changes are not announced or told after changes are made and many people are left out of communication
Attitude towards older colleagues
A lot of older coworkers are forced into schedules they can't work and end up leaving. One woman worked there over 20 years and was forced to quit because they forced her to work a shift she couldn't do.
No such thing. Use to be able to work your way up the ladder but now everyone is tied down to their phones
Overall compensation for your work
No pay raises after 90 days. Only get a cost of living raise once a year but it's only 1-3% so literally dimes.
Overall the people are nice but upper management doesn't have a clue how to run the business
You get 3 weeks pto but can't use it until after first 90 days as management will use that to deter your performance raise.
Going downhill quick
Lots of people are quitting and leaving due to new rules by management. They say they laid off 1 person yet the dept went from 200 people to under 100
Secure doors and lots of cameras
Work isn't hard but keeping up with changing policies and rules can be difficult.
Suggestions for improvement
- Listen to your employees and make this a family business again.
