Support from management
Depending on which store manager they bring in some are supportive and some aren't. The ones that aren't bound in their office a lot.
Overall compensation for your work
My location was usually inthe top 3 in the east coast of the US and or top 5 in the country. Was never compensated or recognized for it. Also didn't get a raise for almost 3 years and that was my determination factor to resign. The sales associate position is very cut throat and they dock you a percentage every hour thatyou don't sell something.
They show and tell you one thingon the outside but once your in things change.
My position was eventually terminated. Now the sales associates do the rentals so they don't have to pay someone to run the rentals department.
My position was very challenging sales and physically. I was the only one running and lifting all the rental gear and keeping the room organized.
Suggestions for improvement
- They need to completely overhaul the pay took their employees. You can't live off that salary (being minimum wage) for a specialize job unless you live with your parents and have no bills
