No room for advancement, pay is below industry standards in the local area, 99% of raise requests are rejected even for those that have longevity and perform extra functions within the workplace. There is zero cohesiveness within the departments.
Support from management
Department Manager is great. Will go to bat for you but ultimately, her hands are tied when it comes to pay issues
As already stated, no cohesiveness between departments and the guy that should be making that happen cares solely about those that generate revenue...the cab drivers that cause relentless complaints. One department will attempt the enforce corrective measures while other departments negate it.
Nobody is on the same page on most everything. Go to the person running the business and he'll tell you one thing to your face and then fails to follow through with any of those statements
No career development whatsoever
Office / Work Environment
Outdated computer hardware and software. Office furniture is old, dirty, and non-ergonomic. Computer keyboards are so faded you can't read the key placements.
Come to work, do your job, go home.
Suggestions for improvement
- Respect your employees. They are not merely line item expenses that don't have lives. Pay them more. Cheap is always more expensive in the long run in every facet of the business. Know who your leaders are. Understand that they are an asset.
