The environment is very laid back. Little sense of urgency. Not everyone is commended fairly. This goes back to the favoritism.
Support from management
There is a lot of favoritism and it is obvious to everyone. Decisions are sometimes made based on one persons opinion/suggestion. Usually the decision benefits the person making the suggestion only and not the overall company or its customers. Decisions are not always clear.
Most departments work well within. Working well with other departments is a different story.
Freedom to work independently
I'll just say some employees have a much greater workload than others. Sometimes it's necessary to take care of someone else's responsibility in order to make things work and benefit the customer
Attitude towards older colleagues
Long-term employees are not really being given the same opportunity as younger and more recent hires.
Very little opportunity to move up
Overall compensation for your work
Wages can be better. Bonuses are only given to a select few and not necessarily the people bringing in the profits.
Employees bash the company to customers.
I feel my job is secure. There is very little turnover. I appreciate the security but they hang on to some employees much longer than they should.
I love what I do and take much pride in my work. The lack of passion from others can wear you down.
Suggestions for improvement
- Treat all employees equally. They'll be much happier and feel appreciated and motivated to do their job. A lot of good people work there that are simply burned out . They don't feel appreciated and at times feel left out.
What I like about the company
They are family friendly
What I dislike about the company
Too laid back. It all starts where?
