Simple put one of the worst companies to work for unless you have been there 20 years which a good part of senior mgmt has been. There is no communication, no transparency, arbitrary decisions and direction, no marketing plan and you are not valued as an employee or what you bring to the job. They use and abuse employees. Upper mgmt lack innovation or inspiration and many of us wondered what they do except suck lemons and bark orders. No communication, consistency for a job that should be relatively simple. High turn over rates due to the chaos. Do have a employee "circle of caring" which is total joke as we all know they don't care and will fire you in a moment. Marketing is ineffective and outdated with no new campaigns; use the same tired brochure/collateral for all federal holidays with lousy copy written by a two year old. Commission plan is good but unlike any other company I have ever worked for, they whack the sales person on their commission for reasons beyond your control i.e. if the office doesn't make budget or if your team doesn't make their numbers. So if you do your job, make your numbers but your collegues don't, you pay for it! Training is good but again disorganized; had my trainer forget we had a call when there was 20 + people on the call waiting for her/them. Nice!? You think it is going to get better and it won't. Business is private thus they are not accountable to anyone and don't understand how their doors are still open. Just mistakes, confusion and frustration daily. Better places to work.
Suggestions for improvement
- Get a real campaign, don't penalize your sales staff, get rid of central intake - it is expensive and doesn't work. Spend some money on advertising and get consistent in your message and branding including company colors /uniforms etc. Go paperless and spend the money to get computers and smart phones for all staff including clinical. Just need a capital and brain trust infusion. Need a transfusion in as far as need to get new life into the company with new ideas and passion. Right now everyone just doing their job and collecting a paychk. Upper management needs to go as they have not a clue what they are doing and just are protecting their jobs. They lack ability to build a team as do not inspire or build loyalty.
