The company look over safety and professionalism to achieve production numbers
No teamwork. more like gang up on individuals not part of a ground and back stabbing
No communication whatsoever
Promised to work on development to move up in pay or management. After two years of trying to get some development plan going. finally giving up and moving on to another company.
They expect you to bend over backwards for the company in times of need but wont even hear you out when you need some time off for your family
They have untrained people operating dangerous equipment. Training is lacking, and most people themselves create a danger. Management does not put a stop to this as long as numbers are meet.
Suggestions for improvement
- Need better management that actually sees what is going on on the floor. Management looks for scape goat when numbers are not good.
What I like about the company
The benefits are ok. Medical is $100 for a family.
What I dislike about the company
Raises. they are just 3% which almost covers the increase in insurance every year. Its almost like you are not getting a raise. Also HEB promises to promote from within but they do not. They promise to allow you to grow in the company, but they do not. They promise that you are an owner in the company but they dont want to hear anything you have to say. This is the manufacturing side of the house, not the stores.
