Praise is rarely given and sucking up to the boss is always rewarded.
Support from management
Management doesn't communicate shared goals. They don't communicate or work with each other effectively.
The teams work really well with themselves. They do not always play nicely with each other.
Freedom to work independently
Too many single points of failure and bottlenecks.
Just flat out bad. NOTHING is communicated from the director level to employees.
Females in management roles have been fired and demoted at an alarming rate. About four times as much as males.
Attitude towards older colleagues
They are considered to be first on the reduction of work force list.
This is a dead end job.
Overall compensation for your work
Removed all incentives to work here. No more ESOP - no more 401K matching - little if any raises.
Office / Work Environment
The roof doesn't leak and the heat works mostly.
Employees have requested vacation hours for Saturday and Sunday to ensure they won't be interrupted.
No one I know speaks well of this company.
Didn't feel safe for the last two years. The company is very unstable and has a high debt to cash ratio.
The bare minimum.
Many pathways between the cubes are under sized.
The biggest challenge is getting things done in spite of management.
Inclusive / Diverse
Rather intolerant of strong female employees. It is an old boys club.
Suggestions for improvement
- Sell everything and walk away. You are not capable of running a successful company in this climate.
What I like about the company
Nothing - the anxiety was more than anyone should have to endure.
What I dislike about the company
The absolute incompetence of their IT management. The managers could not even keep a blanked budget.
