Yes they commend when job is done well. I would not say it contributes to fairness overall.
Support from management
The supervisor involves the employees so long as there is no tension between employee and the supervisor. Favorites are most definitely the name of the game.
Colleagues worked will together if they liked each other. However, if the person didn't care for the other than one would sit and do nothing while the other did all the work or opposite of that where the person who didn't like the other would do all of the work and then tell supervisor that the other did nothing.
Freedom to work independently
Yes employees do have somewhat of say as to how the night might go with the residents because there weren't tight schedules to keep.
It is for the most part trasparent.
This question should be if men were appreciated and could return to work. Because the company is minority ran this question is not applicable.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Yes, this company very much appreciates their long time employees. However, thwireless new hires are either in the circle or they are out of it.
Again this is if you are a favorite then off course you'll get the further training and job advancement opportunities, however if you are someone whom dies not fit in the circle then you'll not get any chance for it.
Overall compensation for your work
The company pays well with increase pay. After a set amount of time more benefits will be covered by the employer.

The company still has documentation notes hand written.

Employees must give 30 day notice for vacation days. There are 24 hr staff supervision.
Most colleagues I worked with always complained of the image it attempted to portray and the image the employees actually new of.
Job security was good for all the wrong persons. An employee came in drunk several times a week. It was not dealt with until something major happened and that of which is not discussed.
Yes this is a traumatic brain injury place of employment.
I had 2 1 inch slivers in my hand I had to have 3 surgeries for. There was nothing done to prevent another incident.
I was proud of the accomplishments of the residents and at times I was recognized for it. When I was recognized for the achievement I would loss that responsibility to the favorite employee at the time.

Yes they do promote diversity verbally however actions speak louder than words. Their actions do not promote it at all.

Suggestions for improvement
- The company needs to think less advocacy and do more advocacy. They need to remember their mission statement and operate by it instead of it being just words.
What I like about the company
I loved the residents I worked with to promote a sense of normalcy.
What I dislike about the company
The favorite employees won all and the others suffered.
Great example is the awake overnight staff gave 11 residents their medication because the morning staff were way too tired to give them.
