Good, because they gave everyone a chance to move up in this company if you were capable and knew basically all the jobs.
Support from management
There was no support from management after train unless machine break down.
Yes employees did in fact work together I would help another colleague and there were trainers around to help workers perform jobs.
Freedom to work independently
Yes, that was the problem you were left alone once management felt you were pretty good at the job.
There was lack of communication with management, I guess they had to get to know you just as you would want to get to know them.
This company treated men and woman the same.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Yes there were alot of older people that were new hires when I went back the second time.
Yes, there were to women that advance as trainees and they started out just like regular employees.
Overall compensation for your work
No, not at all I believe this company could have add a dollar extra to start, because temp -service paid more than they did, for jobs with minor responsibilities than this company had as a plas0tic machine operator.
Office / Work Environment
Yes, the management human Resources and management offices were pretty good.
Absolutely they were the most recycling company I ever work for.
Yes, The human resource lady was amazing and had consideration she hired me a second time my car went down when I first started, and she re-hired me and excuse me
Not, really because the pay wasn't good and it the responsibilities and some of the machine they had employees to operate was not easy, this company need to stop being cheap and pay employees, for what they want the responsibilities they want employees to do at this company.
No, because they can never get no one to stick around because they don't pay nothing. They have a lot of people quit than stay at this company.
No, only handicapped on bathroom door stalls
Yes, so far I seen there was safety practice and yes there were trainees on the production just to train new hires, they were pretty good on safety.
Yes, I was proud because this company made sure you were properly train they had trainees just to train new people on jobs.
Inclusive / Diverse
Well, probably I wouldn't know because I couldn't complain, there was nothing to complain with this company besides the pay.
Suggestions for improvement
- Nothing, the management was pretty decent especially the human Resources lady Dana she was awesome and care about your personal problems. She gave people chances, it's just they didn't pay enough for employees worth and responsibilities that about it, but the company was fine.
What I like about the company
I like about Hicks because it was not a large facility and everyone was all about working.
What I dislike about the company
I didn't like they small cafeteria without no vendor machine it was really really tight, were only 10 people can barely fit inside there.
