cape verdian culture were treated more respectful. And rules were bent for.
Support from management
Manager began to consistently discriminate against me due to being a recovering addict.

No where to move up. At all.
Overall compensation for your work
Same pay whether there for 15 years or 1
Some ft employees had a good balance. I was forced to work 16 hr periods of time with only 8 hrs off inbetween hrs very inconsistent.
Always sure they kept their image up even if it was a mess inside within employees an residents.
8 people were fired or forcibly quit within 2 months.
I was alone to care for 16 families every night midnight to 8am ...fire emergency ect.
Double overnights to days were difficult...also being alone with 16 families overnight.
Inclusive / Diverse
Included staff ...residents and staff were very diverse. Except no men employees.
Suggestions for improvement
- They need to stop stealing donations from the less fortunate and treat people including residents as equals
What I like about the company
I loved all residents an staff and the atmosphere, I didn't mind working crazy hrs
What I dislike about the company
