In my opinion the section leader displayed unprofessional qualities such as favoritism, encouraged gossip and was an instigator. This individual did not practice fairness toward all employees. At times there was an air of hostility. However, this individual had an extensive knowledge of this department.
I have seen racism expressed towards white employees as this company has a predominately higher minority population

This company offers pretty good pay and health coverage
This company work their employees 7 days a week only allowing employees to take off one weekend every other month. This will quickly cause the employee to burn out, experience health problems such as foot, leg and back problems, emotional and psychological fatigue as well.
I did not see ramps, elevators, or other accessibility equipment, tools or resources that would be helpful to persons with disabilities.
This company does have safety meetings on a regular basis and management seems to display an attitude for safety of employees, however, when a company works their employees with every single day with only an option of having one weekend off every other month, this is hardly promoting a sense of safety, concern or consideration for employees' health and well being.
Suggestions for improvement
- Supervisors and section leaders should practice fairness and tolerance to all employees. Employer needs to give employees more time off for rest. For example, give employees 2 weekends off per month or 1-2 days off per week.
