HM Health Solutions focuses on meeting the information technology platform and other business needs of the Highmark Health enterprise as well as unaffiliated health insurance plans by providing proven business processes, expert knowledge and integrated cloud-based platforms.

Company culture

It's who you know The culture is very poor and the past five years hasn't been a great place to work. Many people work themselves to bad health and the culture of the company is do what I say or there's the door. It doesn't matter if you have a family or not.

Support from Management

Leadership only cares about themselves and about top dollar. Honesty is hard to find there

Overall Compensation for your work

The pay was good if you only worked 45 hrs but it isn't that good when you consistently work or are bothered on days off vacations and work 60plus over 18 years.

  • Replace those who offer no flexibility or autonomy for people. Develop a people management team that shows leadership how to value employees. get rid of despotarian managers

What I like about the company

Vision and mission, salary and benefits.

What I dislike about the company

Low autonomy, old fashioned HR management, Lacks transitional leadership, management without leading people. Poor performance review evaluation methods.
