Support from management
Management is very supportive and involved employees in a positive way.
For my short time employed there I never saw much in the way of quarreling and everyone worked together well.
Freedom to work independently
My autonomy was low as an intern but it seemed much higher for the other employees there.
Everyone was very patient and communicated to each other and customers well.
I have no real basis to tell you whether women were getting paid more or less but there seemed to be many women employed in the office area.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Everyone was very friendly to one another. As I said above, almost like family.
As I said before, most problems were things I kind of already knew but I did learn a few things along the way.
Overall compensation for your work
They really got their money's worth with me as an intern, but I didn't do it for the pay as much as the experience.
Office / Work Environment
Very friendly and comfortable environment, but being a trucking company things were not completely clean.
It's hard to highly rate a trucking company as very Eco-friendly, however they did recycle cardboard.
I was an intern part time so I'm not fair to judge but it worked fine for me and I was in college at the time.
Being someone who cares for the environment I felt a little uneasy working for a trucking company. However, the people that worked there were so agreeable that I do think I was kind of proud to work there.
As an intern I had no illusions about being let go or not, but I thought I had gotten along so well with them they would hire me or keep me on a bit longer.
To be honest I saw nothing in the way of handicap accessibility but I also fail to notice these things because I am not handicapped myself.
I never felt unsafe working there, however it is worth noting this is a company that work on and fixes trucks with power tools.
I had some difficult problems every once in awhile but most things were pretty straightforward. It's problem the same in most places.
Inclusive / Diverse
The area around the company is a very high Caucasian percentage, there were a few of Italian decent.
