- Hillcrest Convalescent Center, Inc.23.Mar 2017
Researched the history of Hillcrest, I concluded that previous management was very nice, helpful and more caring
Support from management
no employees are not ever involved in any decision making.
Colleagues are always supporting each other, some nurses are helpful. Upper management needs to adjust their work attitude, Help out with residents when working short of staff, pay your employees.
No not at all, Upper management is rewarded with vacations, cna's and nurses received coffee mugs, tee shirt or pin
Attitude towards older colleagues
very selective about who they employ, age and gender is not a factor. yes
No, there are no advancements. Greater opportunities are not available.
Overall compensation for your work
Not at all unless you have been working there for years
Office / Work Environment
No, not to my knowledge
at some levels, some people are given consideration. Where as others are not. The closest gets the most
Considering where I am, Yes
One can never tell
Inclusive / Diverse
No not at all
Suggestions for improvement
- Permanent assignments are a disaster. I suggest given assignments should be carried out to prevent short staff.
What I like about the company
Former colleagues and some nurses were great to work with
What I dislike about the company
In-service is sharing information pertaining to caring for your residents, which should be given by nursing supervisor or a member of nursing staff. Not the scheduler who doesn't even have cna.
upper management who has a CNA has never helped out.
