Suggestions for improvement
- The special education case managers are expected to do too much with too little support. In turn, this is causing burn out of great teachers who could contribute to such a wonderful, supportive culture the was built to educate future generations. Instead, special education teachers are being turned into consultants, and paper pushers, working less and less with students, while less experienced assistants are hired to worked to with the most needy students. Takes the time to hear out the complaints of the special education staff. The constantly growing caseloads and expectations negatively impact our happiness at school, home, our health, which ends in us leaving. Over working us costs you more money in the end, because you have to take all the time, money, and energy finding stafg to replace those that said, "Enough, is enough. I, too am important."
