Suggestions for improvement
- Hire a manager who can be nice but tough, one who is not already biased by the people who have worked there forever, create an employee manual/handbook, state policies that are clear and what consequences would be if not followed.
What I like about the company
The upper management is hands off in the optical sales department, which is great because micro-managing is awful. Owner has an open door policy to discuss anything at any time. Everyone for the most part is cheery.
What I dislike about the company
No written rules or company guidebook/handbook and no clear management position.
